Matched - by Ally Condie

Here's another dystopian trilogy that I think you'll enjoy. Again, don't think Hunger Games here. I don't think you'll find anything that really compares to that series (except for maybe Veronica Roth's books which I really really liked - read about Divergent in my other blog post).

In this world, everything is decided for you. The Society doesn't give you a choice as to what you can eat, where you can live, how long you can live, or most importantly who you can love. At age 16 you attend a Matching Ceremony where you are paired with a partner based on data that's been collected on you since your birth. Cassia's match is Xander...or is it? She also sees Ky's image on the screen before it goes black. These type of errors don't happen in the Society. Cassia knows that Xander should be her match and based on what the Society has taughter her she should be with him regardless. However, she cannot stop thinking about Ky. Who should she choose?

As you move through the trilogy you'll travel along with Cassia, Xander and Ky's love triange. You'll see how these three are torn apart and find their way back to one another while trying to find their place in the world. And while this is happening you'll see what is happening in the Society and find out if it is as fowl proof as it says it is.
